MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS

·        Chair of the 2024 IEEE Rising Stars Conference that had its largest attendance and sponsorship interest in its 10 year history

    Chair of the IEEE-USA AdHoc on Strategic Prioritization that has thus far successfully been implemented with an updated Strategic Plan in 2017

·        Member of the IEEE Expense Report Platform AdHoc to help test and review the Concur Expense Reporting tool that was successfully implemented in 2018

·        Member of small committee to develop IEEE’s Volunteer Leadership Training program that successfully rolled out as a pilot in 2013 and as a regular program in 2014

·        Received three Region 6 Director’s Special Awards for dedicated and valuable support to the region as its long-time secretary, efficient meeting facilitator, and meeting planner, as Treasurer in developing an efficient budget, tracking, and disbursement system for audits, and innovative leadership and onsite support for over 100 region activities

·        GOLD Achievement Award for initiating collaboration and bridging gap as the liaison between Standards Association and GOLD, one of the last IEEE entities without a GOLD presence.
