I love to spend time with my wife and two
kids at home or visiting somewhere new such as Death Valley or a new restaurant.
My wife works with troubled kids for the school district so she is not an Engineer but is so much more street smart than me and very creative. My oldest loves playing Minecraft and even set up a Discord with his younger sister so they can talk to each other way before I was introduced to Discord in 2022 for IEEE Rising Stars. He also is close to Eagle Scout and takes way too many AP classes. My youngest is advancing in piano and does some performances but isn't too comfortable with that yet.
I am also the head statistician for the LA Galaxy professional Major League Soccer team. This year is my 29th year with the team where you can find me up in the Press Box on most gamedays at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, CA. I have also worked the 1999 Women's World Cup and U.S. and Mexico national team matches when they come to the Los Angeles area. I am excited for the Club World Cup in 2025 and the World Cup coming in 2026.
Besides soccer, my favorite things are Star Wars-related, watching Japanese animation such as Macross, and helping people.
