In uncertain times, people need an organization to provide alternative life experiences and something reliable. I believe IEEE Region 6 is that brand that will serve the student and professional engineering members. The members create these experiences and hold regular events and meetings. My relationships with these members and vast IEEE and professional experience will enable IEEE Region 6 to be the vocal cheerleader of innovation, collaboration, boldness, member satisfaction, and most of all, fun! I have gotten to know the region well and want to return the favor by leading it forward by growing our successful conferences and attracting new and diverse volunteers to think outside the box and be our new leaders of tomorrow.
